published: Hero Hunting

Boundless.org published Hero Hunting, my essay on finding true heroes in literature, last week. Sorry I'm so late getting it linked!

Hi Rachel! I'm the wife of Ted (at Boundless). Just wanted to say wonderful article. I love your writing style. By the way, I was homeschooled too and we plan on homeschooling our girls. Keep up the great work!

I'm glad you found my self description entertaining. Thanks for the comment. And you are very welcome to come over for tea! We can read our favorite passages of books aloud and speak in British, Scottish, and unidentifiable accents. :-)

I just wanted you to know that because of the excellence of your article "Hero Hunting" I have become a contributor to Boundless
Webzine. I have daughters, 18 and 16 years of age, whom I homeschool (plus sons 12 & 10). If my 18yo were gifted with words in the way that you are, she could have written that article. She hasn't seen Braveheart, but she loves the faithfulness of Sam and the purity and bravery of Rebecca. BTW, she also loves to speak in "British, Scottish, and unidentifiable accents." Thank you for this most excellent article ... I look forward to reading more of your writings.
